The Words of Love Shirt turns knitwear into a space for poetry. Instead of slogans or brand names, it carries words that speak with beauty — to someone dear, or to the world at large. The example shown is a verse from Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18, a line that has touched hearts for centuries:

“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date”

Such words create an atmosphere of affection and lightness. To wear them is to carry a quiet message of love, sometimes intimate, sometimes openly shared.

The piece can be a personal treasure or a gift — an elegant way of saying something beautiful without explanation. The wearer may become a messenger, but never in a loud voice: the words do their work gently.

Through the configuration, you can choose your own line — from poetry to a single thought, from Shakespeare to a modern haiku. Imagine, for instance, the simplicity of Issa’s verse:

“In the spring breeze
the white blossoms scatter —
so does my heart.”

“Words of Love” invites joy, tenderness, and poetry into everyday life — something to wear, or something to give.

Jacquard

Jacquard is a sophisticated knitting technique that allows intricate patterns and motifs to be knitted directly into the fabric. Several colours are worked within the same row, creating a richly textured and substantial knit with a distinctive three-dimensional character. Each pattern is carefully programmed to coordinate the colours and structure of the knit.

100% silk lustre cotton

This premium cotton yarn has a smooth, lustrous surface and a soft, refined feel. Gassing and mercerisation enhance the natural qualities of the fibre, creating a fabric with a subtle sheen, clear colour and lasting durability. The finished knit is smooth, comfortable against the skin and machine washable at 30°C.
